![]() GRID runs on a modified version of Codemasters' own in house Neon engine, rechristened Ego for GRID. ![]() Players can choose from racing tuned saloons through city streets, through to driving Lamborghinis around Le Mans, with all cars displaying a highly detailed damage model. It has already helped me.Race Driver: GRID is one of the best racing games to grace the PC in some time, striking a fine balance between automotive simulation and arcade throttle-fest which has resulted in an enormously entertaining game. Do you think there is something i need to buy for my PSU to adapt one of my 4-pin power connectors to this 6-pin to get it working? Or am I missing a entire component altogether? This may be the "power-lead" that you mentioned, but nothing else was included.Īnd I'm not familiar with what a "pci-e lead" is. I'm pretty sure that is the solution, but the problem is that I don't have anything to plug into that slot. I just took a closer look at the card, and on the side is what appears to be a 6-Pin power connector. The fan on the card works, and are you sure the light would come on if it was DOA? The 9600 GSO is also much bigger than my 9500 GT, and that may explain the power issue. My 9500 GT does not have one that I have seen, so I was thinking it was some nifty decoration. And thank you for responding and telling me what the red light means. The PSU brand is a Logisys 480W on the new computer (the one I am trying to get working), and a Raidmax 420W on the old computer. Video card: XFX GeForce 9600 GSO <-(May be DOA, I don't know)Īny help would be much appreciated. I have not installed any display drivers on the new computer, but I don't think this would be the problem. ![]() I am not sure if this is an error light or a power indicator, because I have never seen one of these in action. There is also a big red LED on the XFX card that lights up when turned on. But my old one, now with the XFX makes a strange beeping noise, and refuses to send signal to the monitor. I swapped video cards (with a ZOTAC GeForce 9500 GT, putting the XFX in my other computer), and the new computer lit up like magic. But when i looked at the monitor, it said "no signal," then powered off. I just assembled a new computer from parts I ordered off NewEgg, and everything was working fine: motherboard beeped, computer turned on, all good. My video card is an Nvidia XFX GeForce 9600 GSO, and i'm not sure if it is DOA, as my other cards work on this new build just fine, but here is my problem: ![]()
